Laura, this new series of watercolor pieces are stunning. Not only are your colors gorgeous – but what brush control!! I’ve experimented w/ doing watercolor pieces, but I’m in deep envy of your delicate line-work and control w/ the paintbrush. Love all of these paintings.
Patricia, thanks very much for your kind words! I “discovered” watercolours just a couple of years ago (I used to paint with oils) and I have been having fun with this media. I like the lack of flexibility of watercolours, you have to get it right immediately, the transparencies and the bright colours you can get. I find them refreshing and liberating.
Very nice!
Thanks very much!
There’s real electricity here – or some kind of self-generating network. Fascinatingly alive!
Thanks, Richard! I like the “electricity connection”!
Love the hard and soft contrasts. Terrific work!
Lovely compliment, Elena. Thanks!
Preciosas!
Muchas gracias, Calderón!
Great work, love your style its got a real sense of identity and personality, keep it up!
Thanks very much, Ryan! I am very glad you like it.
